Biography
Chemmie has 18 years of experience in the environmental due diligence field, specializing in large and complex environmental site assessments (ESAs) for all types of industrial and commercial facilities throughout the U.S., as well as Preliminary Assessment Reports (PARs) in New Jersey.
He has conducted well over 1,000 Phase I ESAs, PARs, environmental inspections, and/or due diligence projects at a wide variety of sites, from smaller residential and retail properties, to large portfolio projects, and larger and more complex industrial, commercial, and manufacturing facilities.
Chemmie also has experience conducting and managing Material Compliance Audits; Site Investigation/Phase II sampling and delineation activities; underground storage tank (UST) removals; indoor air assessments including mold, radon, asbestos, and lead-based paint; construction and geotechnical projects; and soil and groundwater remediation projects. He is a Certified Mold Remediator as well as an NJDEP-licensed Subsurface Evaluator.
Chemmie is a member of the ASTM Committee E50, including Phase I Task Group, and annually presents a one-day course titled “Due Diligence in New Jersey” through the Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association (LSRPA).
